Job Summary:  

As a Mortgage Loan Originator, you will be responsible for originating and closing mortgage loans while working closely with borrowers, real estate agents, and lenders. You will guide clients through the mortgage application process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from the pre-qualification to closing. This role offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your networking skills and ability to close deals will be highly rewarded.

Key Responsibilities:

- Originate and close residential mortgage loans while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

- Consult with clients to understand their financial needs and recommend appropriate loan products.

- Assist clients in gathering necessary documents, completing applications, and ensuring compliance with all lending regulations.

- Review and analyze borrower’s credit, income, and financial situation to determine eligibility.

- Maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other referral sources to generate leads.

- Stay current with industry trends, products, and guidelines.

- Work with a variety of lenders to offer competitive mortgage rates and terms.

- Provide regular updates to clients on the status of their loan application.

- Communicate effectively with internal teams, underwriters, and processors to ensure timely loan closings.

- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations, as well as company policies.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator or Loan Officer (licensed preferred).

- Active NMLS (Nationwide Multistate Licensing System) license or willingness to obtain one.

- Strong knowledge of mortgage loan programs, including FHA, VA, USDA, and conventional loans.

- Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage a pipeline of loans effectively.

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

- Proficiency with loan origination software and mortgage-related technology.

- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referral partners.

- Familiarity with state and federal lending regulations.
